Government High School Wanla

"Rooted in the Mountains, Reaching the Stars"

Welcome

A school built in the heart of the Himalayas of Ladakh

Government High School Wanla serves the children of Wanla and its neighbouring villages. Our classrooms, laboratories and open grounds are built around one idea: that curiosity, when given the right tools, grows into confidence.

At Government High School Wanla we believe every child carries a spark worth protecting. Our teachers work closely with families to nurture discipline, creativity and a love of learning that outlasts the school years. We warmly invite parents and the community to walk with us on this journey.
